Welcome to the official website of the Virtual Airline Simulation Organization (VASO). By accessing or using this website or any affiliated platforms operated under VASO, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms apply to your use of all websites, applications, services, and platforms managed by VASO. By continuing to use our services, you agree to comply with these Terms in full.

 
2. Nonprofit and Simulation-Only Purpose

VASO is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated solely to supporting the flight simulation community. All services and activities provided are strictly for educational, hobbyist, and recreational use. We are not associated with, endorsed by, or officially affiliated with any real-world airline, airport, or aviation entity.

3. Licensed Logo and Branding Use

VASO and its affiliated organizations are licensed users of authorized airline logos for simulation and nonprofit educational purposes only. These logos and visual assets are used in accordance with applicable permissions or fair-use guidelines and:

  • Are not used for any commercial profit

  • Are not sold, distributed, or marketed in a way that misrepresents endorsement

  • Are used strictly for immersion within virtual simulation platforms

VASO does not represent any real-world airline and does not claim affiliation or commercial partnership with them.

 
4. Donations

All donations to VASO must be submitted through authorized channels only, including:

  • PayPal

  • Venmo

  • Patreon

  • Direct donation links provided on the official VASO website or communications

 

We do not accept donations through third-party fundraising websites, crowdfunding platforms, or personal payment links.

 

VASO is a nonprofit and all contributions are used to support organizational infrastructure, software development, community operations, and simulation-based initiatives. Donations are non-refundable and do not grant voting or ownership rights.

 
5. Organizational Structure

VASO is governed by a Board of Directors, which provides strategic oversight, legal compliance, and financial stewardship for the organization and its assets.

  • The Board does not manage day-to-day operations of affiliated entities.

  • Each virtual airline or simulation organization under VASO is operated independently by an appointed CEO, who is selected by the Board to manage the entity in accordance with VASO’s mission and bylaws.

 
6. User Conduct

You agree to:

  • Follow all platform rules and community guidelines

  • Use the website for lawful, non-commercial purposes

  • Refrain from abusive, threatening, or disruptive behavior

  • Not misuse or attempt unauthorized access to any VASO system or platform

Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or permanent removal from VASO platforms.

 
7. Intellectual Property

All VASO-owned software, documents, training materials, and branding assets are the intellectual property of VASO or used under specific licensing arrangements. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reuse any materials without express permission.

 
8. Third-Party Links

Our websites may contain links to third-party services (e.g., VATSIM, Flightsim.to, Discord). These links are provided for convenience only. VASO is not responsible for the content, data policies, or accessibility of external sites.

 
9. Limitation of Liability

VASO provides all services “as is.” We are not liable for any damages, including but not limited to data loss, account disruptions, or software performance issues resulting from use of our platforms. Your use is at your own risk.

 
10. Changes to Terms

VASO reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
